Africa in 2020

Africa in 2020 - Africain (en) 2020 - is a Visionary Project for the development of Southern Africa and sub-Saharan Africa in particular.

Africa in 2020 will engage partners and collaborators who share our vision of a prospering African continent - a potential 'bread basket' for the rest of the world, providing for nearly limitless opportunities in any social and economic venture proposal.

We co-operate with non-profit organizations, for-profit companies, trusts, and (non-) governmental organizations where synergies allow for the maximization of effect in mutual interests and goals.

Africa in 2020 is a consortium of philanthropic people whose major goal is to promote social and economic development of Southern African countries in as many ways as possible.

Our interests are concentrated in the social/healthcare development, stretching from healthcare education on a grassroot level - for non-medical residents of rural communities, townships and the broad population in general to the development of a new system of professional medical schools under the umbrella of the 'Southern African Centre of Medical Education' (SACME).

We also promote an environmentally sound and healthy economic development of African countries and their societies, in order to prepare the continent for the 21st and 22nd century in an economically and ecologically sound and safe approach. It is in this regard that 'Green Technology', 'Renewable Energy Technology' and other energy-saving and energy efficient solutions are promoted continent-wide.
